Didn't know how/what/if there were plans for us to meet everyone's children.

I work at my husband's high school.  His reunion organizers were out of town, so I helped out with the local parts.  We wanted to meet all the kids so we had a picnic lunch at the school on the football field.  The football coach also graduated that year so he was supportive of it.   Every family brought their own food (a lot of Happy Meals) and outdoor games to play.  Kind of like tailgating.  It was from noon to 2 but most people left around 1 or so.  A few stayed back to clean up.  It was cheap and easy.

Not sure if anyone has any contact/pull with the school and if they would even allow it. 

But we could rent a picnic shelter at the lake.  I'll do that if you think people will come.  Or if someone local has a big yard and wouldn't mind everyone parking in their yard, that's an idea, too. 

Just an idea.  And I don't want to burden you guys who have already done so much.  Let me know what I can do, too.
